Autistics require aid in things like education and the like but so do neurotypes. It's really more a matter of finding what techniques work best. Besides, you ask what purpose would learning about Autism be if not to aid Autistics? I'm one of those traditional 'knowledge' is its own reward type people. The purpose to learn almost anything, regardless of whatever other motives surround it, is to know. |
