Understandably, your view of Africa is a generalized mindset most newspapers or other media systems have, but there are a few educated and honest people in Africa, trying very hard to give people the opportunity to be educated.
We need help, that is the truth. But past relationships with first world countries like the USA have actually done more damage than good, people got dependent, some American based NGO's had a charity approach- when people's basic needs are not met (food and a place to sleep)- they can not rationalize or think about anything other than where the food came from.
I think what I am trying to say, is that it is all good and justified to only want to invest in your own country, but when Africa was a mineral rich continent the USA was first to entice simple and humble people with the riches of the west. That is like giving a child a chocolate to eat and stealing it away! And saying, no you don't know how to eat your chocolate, no more for you!!
Jail4Bail was an honest attempt of a registered NPO to try and raise funds for all the kids that do not have a chance at an education. Unfortunately they did not do a good job of researching the best marketing approach, but if they are guilty of anything it is being underresourced and blinded by fear of their own daugther's future.
I am an proud African, trying to salvage my country back for thieves and coperate conglomerates. |

Are you aware that WrongPlanet has members from all over the world, not just the US, and that "your own home country" would refer to a country in Africa, for a lot of members? Are you aware that your own incredibly poor grammar, disorganised thoughts and uninformed judgements speak of quite low levels of education, much lower than those of African members on this forum that I have met? So, yes, no offense, really, because your comment really speaks for itself. |

One can't start out a ringing disrespect of a whole people by saying 'no offense' and think that gives you a pass to spew your hatred of what ever you are prefacing 'no offense' to.
