I don't get that many, but I do love getting them.
The next person will complement me. _________________ I don't believe in anything. Religion, evolution, history, none of it is real to me. If you were to ask me, "Who actually existed, George Washington or Homer Simpson?" my honest reply would be, "I cannot tell the difference." |

Well, compliments are better than criticism, that's for sure. The people in this thread are always very nice and write amusing posts- that's why I keep coming back.
(And I've always liked that song too, Syzygyish. )
The next person will also tell us about a song that brings back special memories. |

This song always makes me think of my friend.
Music to My Ears-Jenny Bruce
I stand up but I feel like I'm falling
I feel like I'm falling and I'm losing my ground
I stand up but I feel like I'm falling
I'm lost and I'm crawling
And I cannot be found
I look up and you see that I'm crying
You see that I'm crying though I'm not alone
I look up but I feel like I'm dying
I feel like I'm dying though I'm going home
And only you, you can understand
Understand my childlike fears
And I hear your voice through the darkness
It's music to my ears
I lie down and I feel like I'm drowning
I feel like I'm drowning though I know how to swim
I cry out and you think that I'm clowning
But I am not clowning I just don't fit in
And only you, you can understand
Understand my burning tears
And I hear you voice through the darkness
It's music to my ears
And I'd be crazy to let you go
How I need you you will never know
I stand up but I feel like I'm falling
I feel like I'm falling and I'm losing my ground
I stand up but I feel like I'm falling
I'm lost and I'm crawling
And I cannot be found
And only you, you have been around
Been around for all these years
And I hear you voice through the darkness
It's music to my ears
Your voice through the darkness
It's music to my ears
Your voice through the darkness
It's music to my ears

^^ Yaaaye thankee very much indeed DarrylZero, I believe I do enjoy many quotes, however I am very sorry as I believe I am not very skilled at remembering. Ummmmmies, yaaaye, I believe the happy pixies have certainly blssed me with a happy quotey friend!
"Big fleas have little fleas, upon their backs to bite 'em, and little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum".
^^ I am very sorry if this is not a happy little quote.
I believe the next happy poster enjoys remembering magical quotes that they enjoy. _________________ My Happy Blog: http://thoughtsofawanderingpixie.blogspot.com/ |

Yes indidley deedly Tomasu san i do.
And I'm going to cross reference this thread with the origin of this quote : TallyMan
Here : http://www.wrongplanet.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=2460549#2460549
"Here am I floating in a tin can, far above the Earth.
The planet Earth is blue and there's nothing I can do..."
The next poster... always gives credit where credit is due.
Also "Big fleas have little fleas etc" is, I think, a happy quote.
It reminds me of Jaleb's signature, who I haven't seen for ages.
"Be kinder than necessary, because everyone is fighting some kind of battle"

Thanks, credit to syzygyish for the David Bowie lyrics

I can't even remember!
I do remember insisting to a room-mate that we listen to that song in the dark.
"so we could focus on it completely and absorb it's magical meaning"
He must have thought I was gay!
And anticipating a move or dreading it!
Anyway,
Last time we spoke you were going to sleep just as I was welcoming a new day,
now I am off to bed as you welcome an original dawn.
Goodnight.

Correct, good night syzygyish. It is midday here and I'm looking forward to some bacon and eggs.

Bacon, egg, tomatoes, fried bread, fried mushrooms and a mug of steaming hot tea.
The next person often skips breakfast. _________________ The Sun has risen and set for millennia. I saw the first sunrise and will see the last sunset. I am everything and nothing, witness to all; the ghost in the machine.

Not really, I eat a healthy diet with lots of vegetables etc. Both my wife and I can cook, though she usually does so. I tend to cook the more exotic things like lasagne, stir fries and curries.
The next person is not very interested in fashion and wears clothes which are comfortable and maybe a little dated. _________________ The Sun has risen and set for millennia. I saw the first sunrise and will see the last sunset. I am everything and nothing, witness to all; the ghost in the machine.

^^ Woowwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeess, yaye! I believe that is very correct indeed, thankees TallyMan! I believe fashio is indeed happy for humans who enjoy this, however I am very happy to wear my happy and cozy clothes and I am happy not to buy clothes unless my current clothy friends shrink in size or gain holey friends. However, I feel very evil as I believe my human family appear to become angry as they wish for me to "tidy myself up". ^^ However, I do not understand this. I do hope I am not upsetting them. I am sorry if I have been horrible.
^^ I believe the next happy poster is also worried that their human family is worried for their ways. (Oh dear, I am very sorry if this is very confusing statement for you). _________________ My Happy Blog: http://thoughtsofawanderingpixie.blogspot.com/ |

Correct, it was past noon when I first ate something. Lunch is the word here but it's the same stuff I usually eat for breakfast but belated this time.

The next person's breakfast is usually the same as the day before, and the day before that, etc.. |
