Monkey Island was heavily inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and so were the movies of the same name, so...

I just had this idea of adapting Hideo Kojima's Snatcher into a screenplay. However, it's going to be difficult to adapt the Metal Gear games, given the excessive amount of story details found only in Codec calls.

I gotta say, the commercials seem very cool. I like the first one better, though. Also, one game that would be a KILLER is the PS2 game Vexx. If you haven't heard of it, then Google the game or even ask a local game shop for a copy. If they have it, however. Twisted Evil

Lets see, me and my buddy both agree on Starcraft making a good movie.

I would say MGS, but way too much narrative for 2 hours, even 4.

Splinter Cell may, so may Rainbow Six. I would find it epic however to see a movie based off of Half Life.

I'm thinking that Half Life 2 and it's episodic content could be altered together to make a trilogy.

Has anyone else thought about the actual possibilities of making a game into a movie? Would it make a good story? Take Mario Brothers for example, probably one of the early games to movie category. If there are any earlier ones, please tell. I would think that there are, but none come to mind right now

Word was that there was going to be a movie based on The Sims, IMDB even had information on it, though I don't know if it is still being made or if they scraped it.

Grand Theft Auto could make for an interesting movie, it would be good to include being the satir world, and include Lazlo on the radio. But the question would have to be on a direction of a main character, possibly going full satir with a negative character. Hell the tv show Burn Notice already feels simular to GTA, and Michal Westen often acts like some of the main characters.

And though it was a comic first, "The Darkness" would make for a cool movie, he is different to other super heros as he has the power of the Dark at his comand. And what could be the deviltry to take over his life. I know that Witchblade wich is set in the same universe has recieved two tv series, and Starbreeze's game add a ver cinimatic feel to their games.

Grand Theft Auto already exists as a film. It was made in the 70's I believe. Not sure on the plot though
