If vaccination evidence is what they are looking for, they need to find a non-vaccinating population that is genetically diversified and not inbred. There are a large number of parents across the country who do not vaccinate and are from a wider genetic pool. Polling them or lookign up stats (namely, how many austitic kids are there who have never been vaccinated) would be far more accurate than basing conclusions on hearsay from Amish schoolteachers!

It seems to me that Amish culture would be more amenable to the communication differences found in autistic culture, which would render some of the diagnostic criteria invalid. If looked at as a series of communication variables which apply to everyone, you'd probably find Amish people endorsing characteristics which would get them diagnosed as autistic if they lived among NTs.
