Definitely, if there's enough room for you to do exercise DVDs, get them! Most of them don't require that much space and there are DVDs for all preferences - kickboxing like Tae Bo, cardio dance, strength training (some new DVDs include exercise bands), Pilates - which is obviously one of my favorites, if you checked out my other responses in this section. I review exercise DVDs (I even have a 300+ page website devoted to reviews), and I'd say that at least 85% of the exercise I do involves DVDs (the other 15% is me walking - I'm fortunate to live in a very pretty, safe neighborhood - and strength training on my own, since I have a full set of weights and a bench). And I am fit and look it! :) (I am just lucky that one of my "special interests" happens to be exercise.) -J.
Do lots of jumping jacks, squats, lunges, squatting low and jumping high into the air, running in place (pick knees up), run up and down a staircase.

I play with my skateboard inside. I put on music and just glide back and forth and spin in circles. If I go fast enough, it feels like exercise.

Do you have any back yard at all? You could run back and forth over a small space over and over, you might look silly but it would be useful. Are there any free gyms such as a local Y? Do you have a flight of stairs in or around your home? You can jog in place, or even get an exercise bike.
No, my backyard is very small with a steep hill near the front road. Wish I did.

Get a treadmill and a big screen HDTV so you can watch the National Geographic channel and fool yourself into thinking you're actually out in nature.

New office space means lots of pavement. That allows some of the best exercise to be done: skating. I suggest figuring out a circuit somewhere, so that if you want to skate for an hour you can without leaving a familiar area.

Now there's an idea, thankyou.
Those are actually kind of fun. We used those in high school in Strength & Agility class.
If you're into gaming, you could always set yourself up with Dance Dance Revolution.

maybe, a skipping rope (those cheap plastic ones...) could be the best 5$ to spend in your situation.

Are there any parks in your area that have walking trails?
I wish there was. They're building a bass pro. Someone told me that it looks like they'll build a place to walk. If they do that'd be great. I'm so tired of looking at buildings and cement. The closest park is in another town, sometimes I go there.
