I saw him in Dallas once. He's pretty hard to miss. And of course, most people instantly recognize him. It's probably hard for him to get any privacy.
It actually worked out pretty well for the Mavs tonight. Dirk's presence seemed to reenergize the team even though he only had 18 points. They destroyed Golden State, that surprised me.

The Dallas Mavericks. Basketball. Their star player who had a bad injury just a week ago. They're in danger of missing the playoffs so they're playing him even though they probably shouldn't.

Post subject: Mavericks so desperate Dirk Nowitzki might return tonight
After his horrible looking injury he's returning after missing only 4 games. I'm not kidding. He's in uniform for their crucial game against the Warriors tonight. I'm not sure I like it. I don't want him to get re-injured worse. Golden State gangs up on him so much I don't think it's a good idea.
