Most schools generally turn a blind eye to bullying of any sort, but especially sexual harassment/rape/bullying of a sexual nature, often because that subject is considered "taboo" by society as a whole, the same way spousal abuse is. Most children generally don't know much about this sort of thing, as parents often have the idea of "They're children, they don't need to know about (this/that/the other)", and thus feel the need to shelter their kids. That said, even a 9-year-old should know that rape is a serious crime that should be dealt with accordingly.</td> </tr></table><span class="postbody"> <br /> <br />Yes, it is a tragic comedy, the world we live in. <br /> <br />And people wonder why the victim is always blamed.
