Didn't watch... Not in the least bit interested in any pro or school sports.

Not a great endorsement of sport if people watch these things for the ads.
I think were they start messing with the rules to fit more advertisements in (I believe basketball is an example), then you might as well through in the towel.
Good fundraising and sponsorship, you want the companies to buy into the teams or league, not ruin them.

I just watched it for the commercials and the halftime show. I can't wait for spring training.

P.s. my general apathy towards football has little to do with being from Kansas City, for those who are suspect.

I NEVER watch the Neanderthal Bowl... out of defiance as well as complete disinterest. It is my second most hated day of the year, exceeded only by Bah-Humbug Day (Feb 14). Halloween is my favorite day of the year. I spent the evening working on an electronic circuit design.
Here are some interesting Aspie thoughts that were spawned this morning by my rejection of this year's Neanderthal Bowl:
Alphas don't care about people. They only want to compete, dominate & show ego. They want a punching bag.
Neanderthals are extinct.
Neanderthals have inferior brains.
Alphas play kiss a55, always trying to impress each other.
Alphas hide behind lies, ego and aggression.
Alphas hide behind mom's apron.
Ants run faster than steroid laden jocks.
My hero is a tiny ant about 2 mm long that I watch running along the rim of my tub. One day I estimated that this ant ran about 20-30 times its body length in one second. Translate that into human terms and a jock would have to run a mile in about 35-40 seconds to keep up with that lowly ant. All those alpha jocks are so weak by comparison.
I might also add that I do exercise regularly, taking long fast walks alone several times a week... while trying to avoid people and the egos that they insist on splattering all over the place.
This by far has got to be one of my favorite posts I have seen on this forum. Especially the part about the little ant.
With that said, I didn't watch it at all this year, I went shopping at Macy's with my bf and bought myself a purse to replace the one whose strap was hanging by all of two strings, a belt for the one that broke, and I threw in some saucy lingerie into the basket for good measure (hey, they DID say that guys like doing the naughty above watching the Super Bowl, didn't they? And mine doesn't like sports.. Soooo..)
In the end though, I forever associate things together in a big meshy grid in my brain, wrought with hyperlinked associations. Which my idea of the Super Bowl was forever tainted by this cake wreck:
Enjoy.

I don't watch it, I've never had. I first hard of it in high school when my brothers had all their friends come over and they watched it in the playroom.

Oh yeah, I watched it alright since I am a Raven's fan. I was so anxious watching the game, with sweaty palms and pacing around the TV during the 3rd-4th quarters.

Watching the Super Bowl is a yearly tradition in my family, in fact the Super Bowl is the only football we watch.
The three of us were rooting for the SF 49ers to win, but they were so close to winning.
I already have my fingers crossed that the Seattle Seahawks play in the 2014 Super Bowl and that the NFL considers giving Portland an NFL team in the future.

I watched the rugby (6 nations) on Saturday England 38-18 Scotland, then late at night Sunday I watched the warm up to the Superbowl. It may because it was late in London but ridiculously over the top, ceremony IMO. It is way to glitzy.
Personally I like the warm world to a rugby world cup better.
I hope the Eagles get better, and USA Rugby gets more coverage as you are missing out state side. I though they made a decent effort last time.

I watched Stars on Ice, figure skating, at 1 in the afternoon. Then I played Fallout during the Superbowl and after I spent a couple hours messing around making homemade antennas for my radio and got a nice R&B station that I wasn't ever able to get in before.
I have no friends to peer pressure me.
