Hello Everyone. My next race will the Tamiya Championship Series regional race in Milwaukee WI on March 28-29 2009. I have decided for this race and the remainder of the season, I will focus and compete in one class, GT2. This is a class that uses a Carbon molded chassis that used lay down front suspension like that on a F1 car, the type of motors that are used for this event are called 17.5 Brushless motors. 17.5 is the number of winds that a used on the motor, usually the lower the winds the faster the motor, and brushless means, that this motor does not use conventional brushes like that used on a regular DC or racing performance motor, they also are less maintenance or maintenance free. These motors have adjustable timing, which at the top of the motor there are 3 screws, and a ring under it that when loosened, it can be turned and adjusted to have more top speed when turned one way, or less top end when turned the other. This is illegal and there will be officials and a tech crew that will be checking racers motors to see if there has been any tampering with them. If there has been any unnecessary tampering or adjusting with the motors, the racer responsible will be disqualified, another of the rules is that and Lipo batteries (Lithium Polymer for short) that has a hard plastic case and is up to 5000 MAH (Milliamps per hour) are allowed for this class. Anything above the MAH limit is illegal. I welcome comments and I will be able to answer any questions about the sport. The race report will come after March 28-29 2009 has concluded. Stay tuned!
I came 2ndin in the A main in the GT-1 finals and i have finished the race report for Round 1 of the UF1 summer series.
UF1 Summer Series Round 1, West Coast Raceway.
After I won the UF1 Winter Series. I imediatly got to work on the Summer Series. Every race expect one is on asphalt and aspahlt is a new expirience to me and my dad. I also have a new teammate. Bill Jeric who will be raicng along with me.
This season, the pit stop rules have changed. You now have to make two stops in 10 minutes or your race will nof count. The pit stop time has been increased from 8 seconds to 11 seconds.
Qualfying went decent for me, I ended up 4th overall but I was far behind the leader. I knew that this would be a learning year for my team but we would still have fun in the process. In the first A main i clipped one of the corners dots, upseting the car in the process. This dropped me back a few positions, with two minutes into the race, my teammate Bill, lost control of his car and i ran right into him rolling my car over dropping back a few more positions, however i was able to fight back and come in 4th. In the 2nd A main I made the same mistake at the begininng of the race and I got dropped back. Halfway through the race I was able to make up some positions, but I clipped another plow disk and it rolled my car over on the other side of the track and I had to go all the way around again. The good news was I was able to take 4th again. In the final main, i did not make the same mistake I did at the beginning and I was able to put myself in a better position. I screwed up my last race pit stop a bit by waiting a little bit for the car to come out but i went around again to come in. I placed 3rd in the last A main and was able to place 4th overall. My next race is April 28th, titled the Shanghai Grand Prix.

Hi guys and girls. I would like to give you an update. The reason why I have not been able to work on the race report is be uase about three weeks ago I just got a job and I have been working 5 days a week and I have not been able to work on the report. It's no excuse I know, but I have been getting broken in trying to get accustomed to my job. On another note, I have a Tamiya Champioship Series race coming up this April 7th. So I will be working on my report a little bit today during breaks. Thank you.
