Well when I was a child I was pretty obsessed with cats for a while....and also just animals in general but mostly cats. I was also obsessed with reading up until I was 16 it was pretty much my favorite activity(but yeah that's gone due to PTSD). But now I'm really intrested in music, psychology, cannabis(facts about it, laws about it, whats wrong with it being illegal ect.) and I also research other drugs quite a bit.

Oh dear, it's been an innumerable lot, can't remember all of them ^^'...but the strongest one probably is my obsession with the British isles, really, everything about the UK and Ireland (there is no worse anglophile than me, I tell you)
It's been there almost my entire life, and sometimes the members of my family get really tired of me connecting everything with it
But I mean, I don't mind, it gives me joy and is practically part of my lifestyle now...and others usually just think it's funny and interesting
(at least at first)
Other obsessions apart from that have been less persistent, but I've had times when I haven't been able to stop thinking about for example Harry Potter, special kinds of music( I play the same songs over and over and over, sometimes up to 10 times a day, and never get enough), psychology(I love psychology, as my favourite occupation is analyzing stuff ;D), languages(still have that one, very much so, mainly because I have unbelievably easy to learn them), different TV-series( at the moment BBC's Sherlock, it's nothing short of wonderful), books, writing stories(almost every day) and so on...well, but I don't think it's all bad. Of course it's frustrating sometimes when you can't get something out of your head although you want to, or can't practice these obsessions(and of course, when everyone around you is sick hearing about it but you just want to talk and talk and talk forever
p), but still, I get a lot of great things and entertainment out of it, and it's part of who I am :>

Not sure I'm obsessed with them now but when I was younger studying animals, pets, dogs and anything related to nature. I preferred reading true storied over untrue stories in school. You would find me in non-fiction section in the library.

When I was younger it was trains, dinosaurs and ancient warfare (mainly ancient Roman warfare).
These days it's computer programming, economics (Austrian School), and Scandinavian countries and their music.

Let's see.... In the early stages of my life, I was obsessed over trains, legos, and dinosaurs.
Around 12 years, I was obsessed with Star Wars, Harry Potter, Legos, and Robots.
At 14 years, Star Wars was replaced with Japan.
Now I'm obsessed with Japan, robots, Harry Potter, Hogwarts Castle, and a speacial someone (I'm no stalker, we're in a relationship!
)

i think reading is too broad to be called an obsession but i did read non stop and what ever specific obsessions i've had have been facilitated but that. in the past i've had herbs and pagan religions as my main obsessions and these have carried on till now. minor obsessions have been graphology, astrology, astronomy, japanese, drugs, toilets, geology, esp, cats, comics and other stuff. if feminism can be considered an obsession then that too is a major thing.

I have a few VERY weird ones right now, although I only talk to my mom about them, and even then, I dont bring them up very often.
It's funny how I've learned to hide them so well.
* My crush, a psychonaut hippie pothead who I had a fling with a while ago.
* Many people fixations...the people I mentor for one. Another is an autistic guy who is having a lot of difficulties. Yet another is a guy with very likely AS who is addicted to painkillers.
* Experimental electronic music - downtempo, glitch-hop, chillwave, idm, ambient. Think Boards of Canada.
* The Emergency Alert System, nuclear war, disasters, etc (this one I've had for a few years)
* Group homes in the area. I have a huge map of them with dots labelling each one. I have no idea why I do this...perhaps it's because my sister is in one.
* Marijuana and studying/comparing my effects with it to other's accounts.
* Animal rights...often related to meat processing and treatment during the process. I know, it's sadistic and gross.
* The Maury Show, Jerry Springer and Steve Wilkos. (I watch them every day. They are my guilty pleasures.)
* Meditation therapy

I don't really have an obsession, but my key interest is writing. I hardly talk about it though, as I never think anyone my age will be interested.

I have no idea really...I guess I like Astronomy but I have always made it a hobby and rarely talked about it with people (even my own parents...who try to encourage me to do it full time...but I am not THAT interested in it).
Through my bout of depression I just look up gaming industry news rather then playing the games...I guess that is an obsession although again I don't tell anyone about it...as I've learned that people don't care about what I say anymore.
I was obsessed with Music at one point too...but I've pretty much tired myself out and tried to get back into it but the current charts are horrible...not because everyone says it is...but because I can't seem to enjoy these songs...even from established Artists.
