probably salt. almost everything has a salt content. |
I eat way, way too much. Started sauteeing stuff in Bragg Liquid Aminos lately, and that stuff has a sodium content even higher than soy sauce. |
Damn straight it tastes salty; Bragg's is pure glutamic acid (similar to MSG)!

If you are looking for a wheat-free alternative to soy sauce then I highly recommend an organic brand of Tamari (soy sauce with soybeans only, no wheat). High-quality tamari is a naturally fermented traditional recipe that has been enjoyed for thousands of years. |

Been expanding my spices lately.
Was bored with my usuals- red pepper flakes, salt, and basil, and took to my cabinets to see if I had anything else.
I found:
cocoa-chili blend, which I love. It's not a combination I think most Americans' palates are familiar with, but I love it
I also found some packets of Chex Mix seasoning, for if you want to make your own- I've been using it in whipped cauliflower, sammiches, and other things
Both are from my local salvage store- the cocoa-chili blend has a lot of intricate notes, which is typical of McCormick's.
That brand is normally quite expensive, but I get it at my local salvage.
The Chex Mix seasoning is more salty, also from the salvage. |

| I consume the same diet every day which consists of rice, chicken, potatoes, organic vegetables and fish. I tend to stay away from anything that has sugar or caffeine in it, including fruit. |

Food wise the meal I end up having most is home made curry. Perhaps not the healthiest choice but I love it! At night I normally end up having some sort of cereal, Frosties being the brand of choice atm In terms of condiments I nearly always put salt on hot food, its a habit almost as sometimes I put it on without even trying the food first. |

| I eat pork everyday. Usually in the form of ham, but also sometimes bacon. Ham goes better with sharp cheddar. It has to be sharp. I can't stand weak American cheeses unless there's jalapeno peppers in them. In that case, gimme. |

| I like Coriander. Right now I am growing Rosemary, Coriander, Italian Parsley and Sweet Basil. I don't get to eat these daily since the plants haven't gotten big enough to harvest any herbs from. Soon. I have a package of Coriander seeds I will plant as soon as it gets warmer. I like to have a lot of Coriander around to put in chili. |

I've become obsessed with the fabulous combination of red pepper flakes, basil, sweetener, and salt- I love sweet and spicy things.
Make me hurt so good! |
