Our brains all have biases and sensory limitations but the vast majority of us believe that our reality is correct. What really happens outside our minds in the environment is likely very near a perfect average of all of our perceived experiences combined. <br />Reality is relative. <br />As for theories of what all this is.. I want to start firstly by saying I do not believe anything. I do not know anything. Perhaps this is the line between psychosis and myself? <br />I think purely in "what if" statements. <br />What if.. our universe was a giant computer. <br />There is a "binary" layer with opposite values. Perhaps that is spin or some kind of value in the quantum state. <br />There is quantum mechanics, acting as a probability layer to the universe. This regulates what is probable and not (everything is possible, some things are just more probable than others.) Perhaps, like Schrodinger's cat, all of the potential possibilities actually occur simultaneously and instantly all of the lesser probable universes vaporize as they are not seen?? <br />There is the environment layer which is without mind or observations, but observing minds are important and build the reality. Because the act of seeing and being seen is the only way to progress time. And time is change so observation creates reality. <br /> <br />Or maybe... The entire conceivable universe is in the atom of a rock somewhere. Countless universes in every atom creating a massive multiverse within itself. If you go small enough, things begin to get larger... If you go large enough, things begin to get smaller... Like a spherical geometric pattern of reality. <br />So there is quantum level and macroscopic level. Go smaller than quantum level and things become macroscopic. I've had a lot of the thoughts about reality. It's pretty crazy. I don't have schizophrenia for sure but I think people with Asperger's can have similar symptoms. I got quite a lucky leg-up in this "level" by being born in a developed country.
