I don't play for my college cause you actually have to be pretty good to do that. Plus there's all sorts of NCAA eligibility rules that I almost certainly wouldn't have met because I basically dropped out of high school. There's a couple intramural teams I should probably check out, when I have the time, though.
I did play high school sports for a bit, and not just to get out of PE (I got out of that anyways just with a note from my doctor) and I was actually not bad. I didn't win enough games to get a varsity letter, though.
At the same time I am ridiculously uncoordinated, though. Plus I can't throw a ball at all, so that cuts the number of sports I can do considerably. |

I didn't play sports in high school because my mom smothered me in extra-curricular activities when I was a kid, and by the time I got into high school I didn't want anything to do with anything like that.
I tried out for the wrestling team once, but got cut because my grades were below a C average that semester and I never went back. |

| I play varsity soccer for my school, although my coach is a raging idiot who has never played soccer before. |

| I row for my school and love it. I'll be doing it for the next 4 years, and probably after that but not for my school anymore. |

I never liked sports, and still don't. I am currently 26 years of age.
My father loved football. He tried to get me to play baseball when I was young, but I basically eschewed his efforts. He would throw a baseball and I never caught it. I always covered my eyes with my hand.
I also was poor at throwing a ball. I never, to this date, have been able to throw a ball as much as 10 feet! |
