Or how about:

NTs Who Think They're Speaking for Autistics but When We Do Try to Speak They Ignore Us or Try to Silence Us and Say that We're Not Autistic.

Well, no, I guess the acronym NWTTSAWDTSTIUTSUSWNA is a wee too long.

It's ironic they call themselves "autism speaks" when none of its members are autistic. It should be called "NT's who know someone autistic speak".

Get white T-shirts and draw on what the original shirts said with fabric markers.

They can't sue us all.

This is not a legal misunderstanding on the part of Autism Speaks. This is a calculated move designed to intimidate someone to not practice their rights under US Constitution and law. This happens all of the time and lawyers know most of the time it works. The way these letters are designed, if someone does stand up to them, they can back down quickly without any legal or financial harm because a case has not been filed with an answer yet.

Well that is just not cool at all. Sad

"...This is not a legal misunderstanding on the part of Autism Speaks. This is a calculated move designed to intimidate someone to not practice their rights under US Constitution and law......" This happens because most people do not know their rights and responsibilities concerning free speech. The ability and the right to communicate are things none of us should take for granted.

That page has nothing to do with this story, thus your spamming and should be eaten alive and shat on.

That is too bad that you gave in Zach but I am not surprised. Hopefully, you are willing to at least give the rights to the shirt to someone like Alex who has the resources to fight their bullying tactics.

Maybe WrongPlanet could sell some of those t-shirts. I know that I'd probably buy one and tell people about it if they asked. Of course, I'd buy it even if WP didn't sell it. However, I think that the t-shirt could get out to more people on the autistic spectrum if it were sold on WP. Anyways, I think that some of the things that Autism Speaks does is ridiculous, not to mention hypocritical. Maybe it was meant to be named "Autism Speaks Against Autism" or something like that, but somehow it got cut off lol.
