Well, the spammers profile is usually linked in the moderators attention forum and when the trash is reported. You should be able to look at their profile and see all posts.

This is true, but also time consuming.

Now it's on TWO different forums! As if one isn't enough! Soon, every subforum will be littered with it! I just spent a chunk of time cleaning out GAD. It would be really helpful if you could mention which forum has been hit when you post something like this so the mod who reads it can find it quic...

Thanks.

I wonder if the American research is contaminated by the twin evils of runaway academic costs and runaway healthcare costs in a way that Sweden is structurally less prone to.

The life expectancy thing is depressing.

An exception to the above seems to be studies coming out of Sweden. They often involve many thousands of people and IMHO reflect some uncomfortable realities I would rather not here about. This is intriguing. Can you elaborate on your understanding of those realities? Or would it be too unpleasant ...

I think some variation on this is extremely common. Before the diagnosis it seems like such an important question and people often express this in inadvertently deceptive language: "It's important to get the diagnosis right so we can respond correctly." The reality is that there is no corr...

Yes. It helps even my emotions and reduces anxiety.

I have planned and timed multiple looping routes through the neighborhood so I can plan walks for time (e.g. during lunch break from work.)

I like quiet routes with trees and few people.

A bit, not sure… Usually towards the end of the day, I am stressed and warned down I get agitated easily. Normally I don’t have issues involving sensory. But I noticed bright lights tend to pulsate toward the end of the day after I am agitated… Problem is I don’t normally notice emotionally I am ag...

I am an omnivore and have no objection in principle to meat in salads. This does look a bit... gamey, though. Also, if this was a free range bat, the chance that it's carrying rabies is a consideration. Consuming bat tartar would be a an uncontrolled experiment in zoonotic viral infection that I wou...

In 2013 several electrodes were attached to microtubuoles in the labs of Sahu et al, and Bandyopahdayay et al, in which they determined that several configurations in the channels of the microtubuoles changed their corresponding frequency with only the tiniest change in applied voltage. As such, th...

I don't understand Orch OR. It seems to have changed over time as early conjectures were proven false. But more than that it seems to just move the problem of how a program on networks of neurons creates consciousness to how a program running on some sort of quantum effects in micro structures withi...

It seems odd that you say you work for "some big IT company." Is there some reason why this market research has to be done in secrecy and you can't reveal the name of your employer? Usually when researchers come here looking for information, they are quire forthcoming about the programs th...
