Programming journey so far. :-)
Hello. Half way through that "NewBoston" site on Python about half way on his 50 tutorial videos (on around 25 or so).
Got stuck on downloading some package thingy.
I read Python/R/& MatLab are good for "data analysis" so I jumped into his R tutorials. (only 18 videos there on video 10.)
They seem easier enough and I think I like R more than Python. It seems like you don't have to type as much. In Python's case it's If/Else statements if this is true or false etc. In R you get TRUE TRUE TRUE FALSE TRUE all in one command no back & forth.
MatLab IS expensive though at $150 bucks! I also found a good R tutorial for when I'm done with NewBoston's R videos. If I can ever figure out what got me stuck some "pack thing" on video 25 I'll jump back into Python.
Not sure WHAT I really want to do in the field sadly. To me it's just typing words I'm not doing/making anything. Although in R I loved making a spreadsheet in one line of code vs. having to type it all out in Excel.
