I have not heard that Spielberg has it.

I have, if IMDB is to be believed.

I have a hunch that Janis Joplin had it
I also have the same hunch about Elvis Presley
Graig Nichols, hands down
I have a feeling that Fran Dreshchier has it.
The actor who played Albert on Little House on The Prairie had it
I'm under the impression that Lady Gaga has it.

Peter Tork, John Lennon, Ray Davies, and Craig Nicholls prob'ly do. The others you mentioned don't even seem REMOTELY Aspie!! (except possibly Janis, but I think a lot of her "strange" behavior was more drug-influenced than anything)

I also suspect Lady GaGa! She was an outcast in school, has an unusual dress sense, comes across as ackward in interviews and has a strange way of thinking...

Plus she reminds me of my friend who is currently undergoing assessment for AS.

If Lady Gaga's Aspie, you might as well consider me to be Bruce Springsteen!! 8O

I think somebody may have already mentioned it but Gary Numan has claimed to have asperger's.

I am pretty sure George Carlin had it. In interviews I notice he has a lot of trouble making eye contact and stims a lot. Also his sense of humor was very aspie"ish", a lot of wordplay and off the wall observations. I would imagine a lot of comedians are on the spectrum.

I forgot to mention earlier.. I believe Ronnie James Dio has it as well. He actually just recently passed away but if you observe his interviews and his approach to things, he's totally aspie in my opinion. He's amazing.

No, she's just a stoner.

And Dio? Seriously? He was just eccentric...

It's pretty much common knowledge that she's an avid pot smoker/drug user.

Hello, sorry if this is a old thread. Im new to the forum.

I have aspergers and I have always had a hunch that Nicholas Lyndhurst from only fools and horses has it too. I just pick it up from him sometimes. The way he moves his hands close to him at times and stuff.

I love Siobhan Magnus and I also think she definitely has AS. I'd bet money on it. Since I'm a big fan of hers I know a lot about her:

- Idol actually has a clause in her contract that she can't wear heels cuz she will fall in them
- during Idol rehearsals they would play a game where everyone had to guess the next lyric of a song and Siobhan monopolized it to the point that they had to quit playing
- obscure, strange and intense interests
- interest in kiddie stuff as well as gory horror movies, very juxtaposed
- her own friends call her "very eccentric"
- can't seem to take criticism (broke down on Idol due to this)
- monotone voice (I know that's a stereotype)
- bluntly honest about everything
- constantly turns conversations back on herself, can go on an on about her special interests with no regard for the other person's possible boredom
- bizarre fashion sense
- bullied harshly in school, was spit on and had stuff thrown at her
- dropped out of college because she didn't like the social scene
- has a strange vocabulary and use of metaphor ("I have a 90s stain on my soul"), outdated phrases like "Oh, brother" and "over the moon"
- fans at the Idol concerts have said she takes extremely long amounts of time to perfect her autographs
- Kara remarked on the show that Siobhan "seems more comfortable on a stage than anywhere else in her life"

I don't know her personally but I would be really surprised if she is not an Aspie.
