Oh my gosh, thank you!
The eyeliner thing wasn't without lots of trial and error and frustration, haha. I always feel nice when I do makeup and hair and floral stuff, but I usually have like, no spoons to expend on that kind of thing so 99% of the time I look like a greasy lumberjack, haha.
I bought a 'gel' liner because I thought it would be easier than liquid. It is easier than liquid, but I still don't do it very well. When I wear makeup now I opt for the 'smokey eye' thing because it's hard to screw up. I have screwed it up, however.
I always feel 'professional' or like I'm 'put together' when I do makeup, but I generally hate it (also due to spoons) and can't be bothered. I might wear makeup once a month at the most. I like how I look in it but the only time I bother is when I want to give the impression that I'm something I'm not, like 'professional' or 'put together' or 'well presented'. None of those things really matter to me, but I am glad I can pull it off when I need to. (edit: I used to work in a bank and had to do that sort of thing every day, then I went through a hippy/deadhead thing and dropped all makeup for about 20 years.)
You have inspired me to practice the eyeliner thing, though.
