Hello everyone,

I am not sure if I actually have AS, I will be getting my professional assessment on Monday. However my AQ and quotient results are daunting. I cried, waited a week and then took them again, and I got the same thing. AQ: 44. Quotient: Aspie - 187/200 and Non-Autistic - 28/200 so that pretty much shook me to my core. I'm unsure about the probability, but I would rather jump in and talk to some people I could identify with, in preparation for my assessment.

I am terrified and excited to see what the outcome will be. Nice to meet everyone! I am happy that I can get on here and get to know you all :]

Welcome aboard. Good to see you're taking the diagnostic step - some of us haven't dared to try yet.

Well my passions are working on cars and yoga! I also spend a fair amount of time out in nature alone for solitude.

Welcome. Discovering one has something like this can be very upsetting. I would imagine if you are diagnosed you will settle in to it and it will not be so daunting. I also like spending alone time amongst nature. ^^

I thought I was the only one here who was passionate about cars. Yay, I'm not alone! What kind of work do you do? What cars have you worked on? I'm also a Boy Scout so I love nature and being surrounded by it.
