Hi. I'm new. I was diagnosed almost a decade back but it never occurred to me to find a group to join. I've always kind of just winged it. I read a bunch of posts from this group the other night though and was impressed. So I guess, hello? And what next? :)

I'm a writer and a playwright, and I like to sketch and take pictures. I am also mentoring two little boys through a local autism group. One's an Aspie and one has Kanner's and we go to parks and movies and things. Makes me feel arrogant as I am learning new things just like they are, I'm just older, but my neurologist and psychiatrist say it is good therapy for me too. And I collect books - scifi and fantasy - and art. So I guess that is what I like. :)
