WHERE ARE THE MODS? This spamming is disrupting my routine.

WHERE ARE THE MODS? This spamming is disrupting my routine.

I know at least one of them was on earlier, but they have lives outside of WP too. These spambots are posting so fast it's impossible to keep up. I hope they find some technical solution or something, because it's impossible for mods to be deleting threads every minute of the day.

I understand that they have lives, but we need a better security system or more mods. That or a temporary shutdown.

To all those wondering where the Mods are, they are responding to us, here:

They are aware of the person who's posting the pics of the leg, everywhere, and know who it is. As for the Seoul Korean spam, I asked them why they couldn't just suspend registration, and the reply was that they didn't have access to Administrator Tools.

Please realize that you aren't the ONLY person whose routine has been interrupted; and, we have 4 new Mods, who were added yesterday, to help combat this.

In my case, I stayed up all night between Tuesday and Wednesday, which helped me get to grips with the mod tools but meant that yesterday was basically a write-off. Yesterday the other new mods took a while to get used to the tools but by the looks of it they got on top of the worst day of spam yet.

i've been removing them from the seaside, my kid needs some attention too; sorry folks will try to get back when she falls asleep.

go to the moderator panel, click "banning" and then write down/copy paste spammer's username, reason given "spam", twice, click submit.

It hasn't stopped----they've been doing it, all week! I'm guessing you're just not here, when they do it----they don't do it, this time of day. They do it, at night----and, then again, in the early morning (or, all through the night)----and, the Mods are on top of it, and delete it.

cat, i'm often logged on during the time of day you posted.^^ i get on at two, but yes, i don't find anything new most of the time then, to remove. it's mostly been taken care of, or at least that's been the case these last couple of days. though when it does pop up we can remove a whole bunch in one action. :)

our distribution across time zones isn't exactly even.

i totally support being able to suspend registration in case of another huge wave.
