It's the classic lesser of the two evils.

Obama will support the plutocracy 90%
Romney will support the plutocracy 99%

I'll take the 9% and go with Obama.

I have no objections.

It has been remarked that if you have chosen the lesser of two evils, you have still chosen evil.

I don't know that either of these options count as such, but I leave it to those who do to find a third way.

This is like the Iranian system with its guardian council. Question is, who is the US's Supreme Leader?

Big Oil, Big Coal, Big Timber, Big Pharma, Big Insurance, Corporate Media . . .

There's no doubt that the "serious" candidates are vetted & that it's basically a closed system, just like Iranian elections. But that doesn't mean that the outcome doesn't matter. This election will have lasting implications for civil liberties, minority voting rights, affordable health care, the social safety net, public education, corporate oversight, war & peace, the bargaining power & living standards of working people, public infrastructure & environmental protection.

Complain if you will about the relative narrowness of the choices we have, or about political paralysis & polarization, or about the sclerotic duopoly of political parties. Certainly I do. But don't tell me that there's no difference between the 2 parties or that we don't have a serious choice to make this coming election day.

I've had to help guard Barry O while in uniform - twice. Most conceited arrogant narcissist I've ever encountered. I may mave to follow his orders. But I don't have to like them and I don't have to vote for him. Now, to be true, I dislike both of them. But, I'd rather see the country head to disaster in 2nd gear versus 4th gear. I am therefore holding my nose and voting for Romney. Besides, Mr. Transparency is now using the executive privilege to hide the fact that he has Brian Terry's blood on his hands - and I'm not letting that one by. Nixon had to go. Clinton should have gone. Barry O needs to go!

Goldman Sachs 1
or
Goldman Sachs 2

I finally figured out what the choice was: Pretty bad vs God Awful.

I like to make the analogy for this election that you get to choose between two bowls of s**t. The only difference is one is contaminated with the Zaire Ebola Virus. I'm not voting for Rommney, I'm voting against Obama.
