If I remember right, the bullet idiots proposed allowing school employees that have a carry permit to carry a concealed firearm as an alternative to hiring armed guards. I was one of the bullet idiots that proposed that and I still support it.

Well, you get the idea. These guys should certainly be armed! (yes, that is sarcasm!)

If every a child had access to a sufficiently large weapon, it could solve all our problems forever.

Actually, it's the protectionist liberals that want to ban things as a way of prevention. When we "sarcastic conservatives" ask for bans on things it's only to mock the protectionist liberals.

Yes and like I said before the joke was already stale when people wanted to ban steam cookers.

I'm pretty disgusted at the way the cops have been parading this boy in front of the cameras, dressed only in a hospital ground and BAREFOOT on pavement. Yes, he did a terrible thing, but that is not an excuse for completely unprofessional behavior. I hope his lawyer uses it in court.

It is a single person going berserk, but it also is a societal phenomena, as these mass attacks are occurring way more frequently then in the past.

But I do not for a moment believe it is caused by the right or left or that the right or left exclusively has the answers/solution. If the two sides continue down this same divergent path, their future looks about as rosy as the Israelis and Palestinians.

Not that I necessarily disagree with you on the unprofessionalism of the cops, but what would you have had him wear? Go out and buy him a three-piece suit and tie, maybe? Just curious.

More important I think. Did anyone else notice, that not one of the cops escorting him was less then 250 lbs? How do those guys even roll out of bed in the morning?

Being in custody, he should be wearing standard jail inmate apparel to include some kind of footwear. Personally, I'd just as soon he'd been gunned down or had his head stoved in with a baseball bat during his knife attack but since that did not happen he should be treated like anyone else in custody. The appear to be treating him worse and with that I have an issue.

Fat cops are fairly common in that area. If you live in that general region or have lived there you don't pay much mind to it. Fat cops really aren't that uncommon in most places I've been, anyway.

There are some real porkers in the county above me.Maybe that's why some of them shoot defenseless people, they can't sure catch them by running.

they should use this case as the flagship for mental health reform, from the mouths of the students at the high school he was bullied daily. I contemplated doing the same thing he did in school many times but never did because of the life ruining consequences

Yes, but he has to get to the jail, before he can get jail inmate apparel. Most of the pictures of him were taken when he was being taken from the hospital to the police station. They don't have inmate apparel at the hospital. They have hospital gowns. So thats what they transported him in.

Not just in that region, it's the same all over. Thats why they just shoot people, rather then trying to take them into custody. It's easier.

Do you have any evidence that he was bullied? Every report I have read said he was not.

As far as I can tell he might have woken up in was of those overly self aware atheist perspectives basically I mean when you wake up and think if there is no supernatural or anything after this everyone that I don't care about can be killed and there is no problem in killing some people because murder is fun and all that I get is a quicker version of what they get. Furthermore he would be remembered, as a bit of a monster maybe but still it will keep his name in peoples minds

I believe they stomped on his hand a few times trying to get the knife away from him.

I haven't looked at everything but just a quick search I found nothing about Hribal being injured or even taken to any hospital for any reason. The last two pictures I saw were of him being taken for arraignment and one of leaving the police station. In both he was wearing the hospital gown.
If you found anything to the contrary then post it here.

Oh please.
They don't shoot people because they're too fat to chase them. The shootings that aren't justifiable are done out of carelessness, incompetence, or thuggery.
