You know, I'm not sure whenever I really am a furry or not. I can't put myself into any catagory. You just have to decide for yourself whenever I'm one or not depending on how you think of them.

Alot of my charatures happen to be anthromorphic. if you take a look at my avatar, you would be looking at the face of one of my first anthromorphic charatures. However, I don't dress up in suits that represent animals, although it dose look kinda fun and silly. I also like anthromorphic art (Not pornagraphy, though. Tame drawings, you know?) I draw it sometimes as well. But if I could I'd probibly draw humans too. Overall, if you consider furries just members of a anthromorphic fandom in general, then you could probibly see me as one.

furries does not mean another sub catagory for pornography.

i like it when people pretend to be a mostly talking/funny/cartoon animal over at the internet world type of place where users identify themselves as their own furry/animal like characters. legimate users treat this subject as an internet/artwork type of thing which means something like that. it should not effect them in real life.

these type of users usually either hang out at some artwork portal site and submit quality artwork and sometimes hang out at non-furry/art websites with their character as the avatar on forums and online journals... again it would be interesting to see more people like that.... but thats just me.

Because I am an anthro artist people would automatically assume me as a furry. This does not look well when on /b/ or around anonymous since they have a general distaste for the variety. However, rest assured I do not dress up in fursuits or have sex with animals or am a furry otherkin

The Ancient Greeks must have been furries, what with their centaurs and other animal-human hybrids...

I'm a furry, but I guess I'm overall "different" than some others. I'm more interested in the artistic aspects of it all being an artist myself.

I don't care about the porn at all, I see it the same as regular human porn, just with an artist's imagination involved rather than two people just going at it.

I'm a "furry" for the fact that I feel like I identify more with animals than I do with people for the most part. :/ I took my innocent and naiive personality and my favorite animals and favorite colors, and created a character. I originally just used her for roleplaying- innocent scenes that I used to try and play out in my mind when I was bored, and finally found someone else to 'play' them out with. I also wrote random short stories to act out random scenarios that I had written in my mind. (I'm an artist, can you tell? :P )

Now I mostly just draw the art because it's cute, and it reminds me of Disney-esque art a lot. The artists that I follow draw cute art, such as this.

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d166/ ... 286216.jpg

I mean, how can you deny that something like that is cute? How can you view something like that as creepy or what not?

I have no interest in sex with anyONE or anyTHING other than my partner, who is very much a human. I love my dogs unconditionally, but I could never do ANYTHING like that to them.

media gives us a bad view...

Well it's kinda weird, but it's also kinda cute. I did run around with tiger ears and a tail when I was little, but that's when I was like 5. It's just kinda weird.
Not that I can really talk. After all, I'm going as Batgirl next time I go to ComicCon with my brothers who will be dressed as Thor and Spiderman.

the thing about furries is its not only a sexual thing, sexual things ar eperosnaly tbut beign a furry is a lifestyle
and no beastiality is doing it wiht animals which i woouldnt do ever

honestly is do enjoy some of the nude art works but i use my character mostly for roleplaying as well
but i dont think you can say stuuff like the discrimination, we autisitics are discrimiated yet you find us fuurries weird as well
