Even though I have two children, I never could warm up to the word "pregnant". I remember being in 8th grade and these two boys somehow knew that word made me uncomfortable. As soon as the nun left the room (Catholic Elementary), the one boy would say, "Preg!" and the other would say "Nant!" I hated them both. About 15 years later, I recognized the one in the front page of a local newspaper as being an escapee from a prison. I was shocked!! I found out through hair salon gossip that he was involved in crime even back in 8th grade - a career criminal from a crime family. He could NEVER sit still - probably ADHD. The other one just grew into a very, overweight man who got married at 19 yrs. of age to a very nice, but older woman who had 5 little children. The later looked just like the actor Al pacino if he weighted 500 pounds. It's strange but I remember quite a few famous male duos from my old neighborhood ended up with the one going to jail and the other being rather passively supported by a woman.
