I find my job frustrating and it kills my mind every day, I do data entry and it's the same stuff every day, every week. No variation. I hate it.

I'm about to burst today but I'm only working to noonish and of course the day is going extra slow  I want to walk out now and go home. I listen to music to block out the sounds etc but sometimes I just want quiet and no sounds.

So just wondering what other jobs AS people do and do you enjoy it?

I'm in the process of moving house, which in turn means I need to get another job, very welcomed!

Well, I'm eventually going to be a stand up. I like the variety involved, because I get to write all my own material, and I can do or say whatever I want as long as the audience is engaged. It's never boring.

I am an electronic specialist for the railroad. I work with computers and networking fun. Used to do a lot of electronics work like board level repairs until everything became plug and pray. I work in my own office, locked away from everyone and my boss keeps people away from me. I love my job, great pay, working with tech, avoiding people. it is awesome.

Stand-up would be great fun! Though I'd not have the guts, yet, to do anything like stand up.

I used to be a picture framer, working with original art work was great. The pay was really quite low and the working conditions weren't grand, so i left and regret it.

I am a system programmer, currently writing software economy applications for companies. I'm mostly writing the low-level class/function libraries, as my specialities include creating sophisticated and fast data structures and algorithms, and optimizing function execution times. And I can't stand working GUI anyway (Since I'm a perfectionist and need to have everything pixel perfect (In every aspect, shape or form), I always spend eternities on them).

I love what I do...

I want to get a little job soon, maybe something janitorial or something. Until I become a dentist.

I teach English in Japan. It's a dead-end job and people look down on it, but I really like it. It's routine, but different at the same time because I work at 3 schools each week. I know what to expect from each day so it isn't stressful.

Before this I worked in the kennel of an animal hospital. That was alright- at least the animal part- but I couldn't take having to answer to the crazy vet.

I do web-design type stuff. I don't really find it that stimulating though, so I'm thinking of going back to school for something more science-like.

I'm a programmer.

It's the right field for me, but my job is starting kind of slow (too much easy work, not enough challenging assignments, and too much down time). Well, it's much better than my job in 2008, where I didn't get to do anything.

I work in customer service. I coordinate home decorating installs and work with customers a lot! But it's mostly routine everyday which is awesome. Sometimes I can be too blunt with the customers and they think I'm rude when I'm just telling it like it is. But my employer is pretty happy with how I conduct myself so it's a good fit :)

I am a "Data Conversion Specialist".

I take list of peoples customers and import them into our software.

If I don't get out of this I'm going to gouge my eyes out from the boredom.
