Great job on the video, Alex! It's bookmarked, Facebooked and emailed to some of my contacts. Your video gave me the idea to use my webcam to make a Youtube video about my autism and how it affects my life.

I loved those kids at the end; I laughed when I watched them, cause they reminded me of me at that age.

I always did that.

I remember my grandma and mom even telling me "stop shaking your hands; ya look like a sissy".

Heh, if they only knew...

Well, my mother passed away nearly 7 years ago now, and my grandmother is in her mid-late '80s, and is going senile now. I talk to her on very rare occasions....and not because I don't want to, but because my time barely permits me to.

Awesome Choice Ride Man. (L.R.D)

Who said People with Aspergers arn't cool.

Alex is Asperger Inspiration King.

Look at the reach this site!!

It looks as though this documentary might have been edited using Sony Vegas or other Sony Product. Just an educated guess.

Good work. I look forward to seeing anything you produce in the future. It's great to see people with AS creating their own material.

Thanks.

and about the Land Rover Discovery. Unfortunately I'm having to get it towed to a transmission shop today. Pray it'll cost less than $1,000 to fix!

Saw a couple more vids. that you have posted (Oh do you have an anonymous PO Box I can send a few bucks for the new server) I Don't Use Credit. but if every member sent in a couple bucks WP would be laughing.

Anyways neat vids.

If you don't edit with Sony product, Sony soft wear works well on compatibles. I imagine Mac has a whole other product line.

None the less, However Your Product was edited, Nice Clean Presentation, and Informative.

The Discovery should only need shift linkage ( I'm crossing my fingers), Unless you heard some terrible noises when it stopped moving forward. Then maybe do a Rover dollars campaign for up to a possible $5000 trans Rebuild. But it won't be that, knock on wood. ( I knocked)

7:22 replicates exactly what I go through, a continous evaluation of responses and actions to prevent offending the opposite minds.

Ingoring other people doesn't work for me, I tried that with disasterous consequences, I was very noticeable. The response I was greeted with was anger and laughter from men to small children. I knew I posed a problem but I didn't know what it was.
It was obvious to them I was doing things wrong.

Great job, Alex! Thanks for doing it. I wish you peace of mind, (which is something my husband and stepson struggle to find) in 2010!

Blessings and love,

Di

Wow.

Thank you, Alex! I just watched your video and you nailed it. I was listening to you talk about the energy it takes to "act normal" and I kept thinking "Yeah- that's it exactly!".

Two years ago, I was told by my boss that she did not feel my interactions with my co-workers were genuine. She wrote it off as being a fault with my character and attacked it as such. I never felt comfortable enough with her to tell her the reason behind what she felt. She was probably right, my interactions weren't genuine. You learn to play the part so you can fit in with the rest of society. As I get older and the stress of family, home and finance take their toll, I'm not as good an actress anymore. The fact that my brain doesn't work like my co-workers is not a fault of my character.

My wish is that people will see your video and understanding will bring acceptance.
