My sister tends to do it when she's stoned. I say to her 'wow, I'm like that when I'm sober.'

I do this some, maybe it's my ADHD. And I skip letters when writing words. I don't know what that's about - it can happen with adhd, though. Yeah, I've always felt that I don't need to drink or do drugs because I experience a lot of those funky effects just being me, totally sober.

Funny thing about that was I had had an equal amount of marijuana as her, and she and her friend were so stoned they slurred their words and could barely walk but I was fine. I may have hand flapped more than I usually do.
Actually I think they were just acting like me when I feel my sensory sensitivities. I had two more hash cookies and still didn't feel anything. No fair.

More often I just mix up words (like the one time I was writing "Happy Birthday" on a card while thinking about ice cream... I wrote "Happy Ice Cream").

I wrote Happy Birhday.
They noticed and commented on it too.

This.

Also, sometimes, somewhere between my brain and my mouth my words get run through a blender and come out in completely the wrong order, and it can take me an hour to get them all out in the correct order.

i always reread my posts and texts before sending them off. i'm always missing words and my sentences don't always make sense.
i think that's ADD.
i forget certain words when i'm speaking though. either that or say the wrong words. i just can't get the words out and it ruins the conversation i'm having with the person.

Do you get stuck for words too? Like, you're trying to think of a word and it just won't come. I get that sometimes.

I sometimes turn two words into one word while talking. And I don't really enunciate properly because I talk too fast.

And if I'm thinking about chocolate while writing biology notes, I might accidentally slip the word "chocolate" inside.

I miss words all the time - like one out of three. When I get really stressed out, it's between two out of three and three out of four. When typing, I'm not so bad.

Sometimes when writing, I accidentally words from sentences. Also, I have a tendency when speaking and writing to subsitute herds that are phonetically similar for the one that I actually tent.

I've noticed less missing words then getting things totally backwords. Like arguing that a white car is black when I mean to say white. Somehow what a meant to say gets mixed up in my brain before it comes out. I'm sure it happens more often then I actually notice.

Sometimes I speak only words-set but not sentence. Like tomorrow off day truth is? instead Is it truth, that tomorrow is day off? Or I don't finish the sentence, mix languages or forget word. Conversations-plan can help this :D

On occasion, not so much while speaking though. I usually proofread before posting/turning in stuff.

And how is that for a graceful recovery?
