As a child, I was aware I could only deal with three digits easily (maximum). Also, as a child I could handle three syllable words but not longer. Years later I was diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive and, for me, the right medicine (a central nervous system stimulant - alerting agent) allows me to work with seven digit numbers (1,000,000) and words like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (with the help of Google spell)
I also had a challenge with sequencing as in building numbers together as part of solving math questions and building words into sentences and paragraphs..
I had a very short attention span. My attention span would involuntarily switch about four times a minute.
