This one happened to me. The exercise was to stare into each other eye's and try to communicate something. Damned electives.

Does anyone else here get followed around in stores by security because you didn't make eye contact or acted somehow "suspicious"? I hate when that happens.

My 9 y old son is also AS, and I don't get it. I explained to him that sometimes people aren't sure it's "them" you were saying hi to, sometimes you didn't say it loud enough , so they weren't sure what you said. Then, while we were on a walk, he literally SCREAMED "hello !" to our neighbour, and she looked at him and...didn't answer!! !
He said, you see, I said it loud, how could she not hear me? I said never mind her, she's just weird. I mean, she acted weirder than any of us ever act. AAAnyway I'll tell you the same I told him: don't mind them, they're just weird.
