I think the key is finding an element of life that you enjoy, and focusing on it. That's what I have to do, or I seem to lose myself inside my head. Some days I spend all my time coloring, some days I spend all my time researching a specific topic (we're talking 8+ hours a day)...it just depends what is going to hit the spot that day. I used to, and still do at times, suffer from feelings of extreme guilt over this. I feel like I should be doing something else that's "worthwhile." My husband helped me see that all that matters is being happy, even if "none of the other kids are doing it."
Perhaps if you become knowledgable about an interest, or participate in something...you will meet someone with a common interest. That's as good a place as any to start looking for sex.
