I don't think I have Seasonal Affective Disorder. The reason why I hate winter is because I can't get as much exercise when there's snow and ice on the ground.

Well, that narrows things down.

I've been diagnosed with MDD modified to depressive disorder-NOS over the past six months, although I am currently experiencing no depressive symptoms at all.

I'd say much of my depression was directly due to unaddressed issues (say, being autistic) and failures caused by dealing with AS and ADHD without even knowing they were there. It did last quite a long time, though, and I am sure it will come back.
