...cannot concentrate on anything else, and can't help but feel really angry (I really used to handle situations differently when I was a child).

For example, today I found out that a thieving mobile phone company just stole eight times the amount I'm supposed to pay them every month... and knowing that somehow they're too big to fight and society just condones everything all these corporations do makes my blood boil. Obviously, the least I could do is cancel my direct debit with them, though they tried to coerce me out of that too!

I'm going to try taking diazepam or something to calm down. I wish I just didn't destroy myself every time this happens.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Yes. Trust wears down over time and adults are quicker to anger and especially those adults who have had the least social rapport with other people over the years. Anger stems from fear stems from lack of trust. Oxytocin improves trust. Short of taking antidepressants you could pet a dog or cat to clam down and feel more trusting for one.
