You need to stop being accused of stalking and start stalking, so you can learn how it feels to be a stalker and then you'll stop doing it.

No, I learned that women have a low tolerance for me following them around and should be assumed to want nothing to do with me unless they've clearly expressed the contrary, and that the authorities tend to take their side in any misunderstanding. So I'm a lot more careful.

Also, I ended up dating a girl that had a crush on me without my knowledge, after she made the first move. That made it possible for me to completely avoid the lovestruck stage until she was already interested and thus not creep her out just by liking her.
