Does anyone else here find going on holiday abroad stresses them out?

I'd be happy to never go on a holiday abroad again. I have a severe fear of flying after being in an emergency landing which was life or death. I also get extremely homesick when I am on holiday. I don't like not being able to speak the native language. I do not enjoy sightseeing. I hate hot weather. I hate hotels / bed and breakfasts / etc. I hate the lack of routine on holidays.

Yup, holidays are no holiday for me. Airports are a special hell.

I don't *go* on vacation -- my time off is more accurately termed staycation. I just go home and relax/have fun with hubby/enjoy pets and activities.
