I am a single 30 years old male with a decent job as a programmer. I just got diagnosed as an Aspie. And this open the door for some therapy (for free) if I can come up with therapy that I could use. But I dont know what could help. Do any of you got any form for therapy? And has it helped? What kind of therapy would you like if you could choice?

I agree--it depends on what you want to work on. Many therapists can help with anxiety that is common with ASDs.
I have had cognitive behavioral therapy in the past and I like that type of therapy. Having it in the past has helped me retrain myself to avoid some recurring problems. I was also taught to identify my emotions beyond good/bad for cognitive behavioral therapy.
I currently see an ASD specialist, but I do not know the name of the therapies employed there. I am in speech therapy, but not everyone needs that.
i go to therapy every 2nd week to cope with daily changes, i have a very hard time doing everyday things, if you are adjusted i guess you dont really need therapy but you could get it anyways, it does help

How do you get free therapy, is it available in Australia?
If you suffer from insomnia you could try cognitive behavioural therapy to help with that. This is something I am considering myself because insomnia has by far been my greatest challenge to overcome with autism.
