What I got were a lot of achievement and aptitude tests, nothing above high school level; plus some surveys that ask you what you'd like to do, what your interests are, and what your personality's like. They'll probably test stuff like memory and visual/spatial skills, plus maybe dexterity... They did some simulated work samples for me, like measuring manufactured parts for flaws. It's not a big deal but you don't want to schedule anything afterward, because you'll be thinking hard all day and you'll want to relax.

I'm seeing a specialist to be evaluated for aspergers soon, is that the same thing as a psychological evaluation and should I expect the same things that were stated in this thread? If not, what should I expect and what will the evaluation consist of?

This varies so much from specialist to specialist. The best thing to do is to ask the doctor before the evaluation, so you'll feel a bit more comfortable going in.

If it's a general all encompassing test they will give you a series of computer based test looking for reaction times with little dots and stuff and other computer test for sounds, shapes, speed test and other game like things followed by a battery of yes and no writen test, at least one interview type test where you have multiple choices and probably two long interviews.
