I'm don't really have a problem with long-winded conversations like most articles seem to suggest.
I have trouble approaching people im social situations like school or at family gatherings, but don't really have a problem talkin to people at the store or when ordering from a restraunt.
I'm kind of clumsy.
I like to be around people in groups but hate being one-on-one with someone.
I make weird body movements at times and feel anxious if have to stay still for a long period of time.
And I can understand figurative language well, and I'm very sarcastic at tims.

What do you think wrong planet?

Im no psychiatrist so Im not gonna diagnose you but I have those traits your describing and I was diagnosed with high functioning autism. I used to be real shy but I got over that BS but I was diagnosed because of my strange behaviour. I socialize in a unique and weird way. Do what I did go to the psychiatrist and ask for an ADD assessment and if you have autism he'll spot it thats what happened with me. My mother came in with me and she says she'd suspected I was autistic for years. She never told me that though I woulda never suspected it haha.

Have you ever walked past someone and overheard them say to a friend: "Boy, look at those Ass-Burgers!"

I hate when that happens.

Not many people have even heard of Ass-Burgers. First time I heard the word it was "Ass Purgers" though which had quite a ring to it. My brother goes to a psychologist to help him with his anxiety and started describing me to him and the psychologist says "sounds like he has ass purgers" haha.

I think that a competent psychologist could work with you and be able to come to understand what you may or may not 'be'. Just because we are AS doesn't mean we can tell if you are.

What you are describing sounds exactly like Asperger's to me. I think you should go to a specialist for an assessment.

I talked to a Psychologist a while back and that's what she suggested but I'm still not sure.

If you ask here, people will almost always say "Yes". From the way you've described it, I'd actually guess you don't have it, or it's quite mild. But I only know you through one message, and I'm no expert. A psychologist might know you better (or they might not, if they haven't seen you for a long time). In the end it's your choice whether you choose to accept the label, as you know yourself best of all.
