She would like accounts of your experiences for her to use, and recommendations for articles for her to read. Do you know of any credible studies and online psychology journals? She said she knows- through knowing me- that what is shown in the news and contemporary shows is not accurate, and she wants to be as accurate as possible.

it would be best if she (herself or trough you) posts more detailed questions, a general "credible studies" is far too broad to be of use.

there are plenty around, but without a direction, there are just too many to post

I'd say the most accurate portrayal of autism (at least on the higher functioning end) in the media is actually from a video game, "To the Moon".
