Don't know if you're a coffee drinker, but it can sabotage your eating habits. If you roll out of bed dying for a morning cup, try exercising instead and nix the coffee. It's difficult to break the ritual, but worth it.

You can also try adding cinnamon to some foods. It lowers your glucose levels. Good luck!

and the cure for needing a daytime nap, is to go outside in the fresh air/sunshine and exercise. it will clear away the cobwebs :)
