Sage for concentration/attention, memory brain health

I eat sage, etc with pork but not that often. I do like it.
I have decided to give this a try, to improve focus with work.
I wonder if anyone has tried a daily dose, and which preparation did you use?
I've just started adding fresh sage leaves to my morning fruit smoothie, it tastes quite nice.
In the experiment they used oil, I wonder if heat treatment is required to access the full health benefits, it generally reduces the nutritional value of herbs. It's possible to extract the oil at home but it seems easier to buy ready made.
