It has to be cheese.. but the word, "lipid," just seems so gross to me!

I got in an argument with a chef about half-and-half. She equates half-and-half and (fresh) cream with junk food!

I totally disagree.

She's a CHEF and she honestly believes a can of diet Coke and an egg-white omelet is better for you than a bowl of fresh strawberries in fresh cream. That was a strange conversation.

I love lipids in all their forms - as long as they are fresh and tasty! (and in moderation)

While cheese is my taste favorite, I couldn't live wihout butter. Mmmmmm...

And yes - it is good on steak! Kind of a poor man's bearnaise.

if you have an egg yolk and butter, a couple of herbs and a whisk and bowl you can have a rich man's Bearnaise!

Cheese is the greatest! :D Really, I love it ever since I was a girl. Who does not like cheese, with all the different kinds there are? Hundreds.

I don't eat the other two options though, so cheese would have won out anyway. :o

You're kidding me? And all this time I've been using Knorr. I'm a capable whisker. I'll check it out!

Ha ha! Maybe I should put this on the "Confession" thread - but I love chicken and duck skin. This is gross but I will just eat the skin on KFC chicken and pretty much leave the meat. The meat is to greasy but the skin is just right!

It's close, but butter just doesn't work in burgers.

Impossible, I can't answer that question. It has to be between butter and cheese.
