It's a shame this thread doesn't seem to have taken off so I will try and revive it! I really admire the work of the much underated Peter Lanyon. This is Lost Mine and it's a painting I often wish I had painted!

I can't say I like this one as such, but it etched itself in my memory the first time I saw it in my teens. The image strongly depicts the concept of civil war with its self-destructive nature:

I think Louis Wain is pretty fun.

I can't think of the names of any art pieces I really enjoyed. Although I can say I like The Nightwatch. A print is hung in my room.
