I finished my first novel this summer (210 pages). I've yet to submit it, self-confidence problems I suppose. You can read the first 21 pages at RobertCreekmore.com Please let me know what you think.

What's keeping you from submitting it?

I can write an entire novel in 4.5 months but I can't write a simple query letter selling myself and my work. I'm working on the second book in the Afiri three part series, The Reluctant God of Earth.

No two novelists are alike. I'm sure your story's fine.

There are about a billion ways to approach a novel. The fact that you completed something AND still have big plans is respectable.

Congrats!

Some of us were just born to WRITE... ...or, at least, born to want to!

(You'll figure-out that whole "submission" thing.)

(I may check-out that website.)

Sorry. If it makes you feel better I do math on a 5th grade level. I'm one of those verbally gifted aspies rather than spatial or pattern thinking. I worked very hard though, 6 hours per day. I'm working on the sequel now. Check out my author page to read the first 21 pages, it takes a huge turn after those initial chapters. I'm still holding out on the agent thing. I won't self publish. I'd rather keep my dignity and let it sit in a drawer.

I'm a total moron at math, too.
Admittedly, I put in about three hours or so when I write, though I used to go for five.

Well, that's something we have in common.
