good books
I think there are some good books out there that can help people on this forum, and some you can get at the library. I read
http://www.amazon.com/Always-Talk-Stran ... 202&sr=1-1
and am currently reading
http://www.amazon.com/Goodbye-Shy-Shybu ... 695&sr=1-1
There's some good, practical info out there that can help you start making the baby steps and hard first moves, which is where a lot of people here struggle. Learning about mind games, "rules", and "PUA" things overcomplicates what should be a very simple thing (finding someone), and I think lead AS people in the wrong direction by giving them the wrong ideas. I liked the first book because a lot of people here including myself don't have a big social circle to draw upon, and are going to have to just bite the bullet and start a conversation somewhere. The second book helps with the fear and the shyness that can emerge in adulthood out of growing up AS. I think the fear and lack of confidence is truly the biggest hurdle (at least initially) we males have when looking for a woman. Focusing on the fundamentals and not setting the bar too high is key to improvement I think!
