You were talking about engineers, not businessmen.
As an engineer, if you have a university degree and/or some experience, you can get a good job, even if you're a socially awkward nerd. Maybe it's a bit easier in Europe, but I don't think there are fundamental differences. (A lot of math professors are single.)
But you're right:
Most engineers I know are in fact married. That's because such a job gives you a huge dating bonus, and any NT who is at least moderately attractive will succeed in such a situation. For those who don't, I can usually tell the reason.
Don't forget that most Aspies have dyscalculia and that most Aspie 8th grade boys have the maturity level of a 8 year old. Not much of a posibility of a career as an engineer there.
