Trusting your gut moment?

In a bar once amongst me and my friends this guy and girl were talking at a table. They were getting on like a house on fire and when the girl stood up to get a beer from the bar her guy friend slapped her bum. Although she was slightly intoxicated she took offence to his action and Kung fu kicked him, slapped him and got in an arm lock (nearly broke his arm).


So tell me then why was this a classic case of the guy trusting his gut and getting it wrong?

Ummmm...just because you get along well with someone, doesn't mean you should make inappropriate gestures like that. Some girls might be ok with it, but others will react the same way this girl did.

Probably because he was drunk? lol

Did you get her picture? Can you post it so the rest of us will know not to try that with her?

He should have done that--if he had permission--in the privacy of his bedroom.

I guess she didn't find it too much fun.
