Is that someone cosplaying as Hobbes? Surprising.

I find the strip where Hobbes stops being real a good metaphor for how school can easily destroy the imagination.

And more daily dosage! (5 per day Iv'e decided)

Am I right to assume most people will just look at the strips and not comment on here?

It's hilarious! It's so much fun to read, and often makes me laugh.

One reason I think Bill Watterson retired is so he could go out on top; there is only so much you can do. Though I do enjoy strips like Dennis the Menace I think the difference between the first 15-20 years of DtM and later is one reason why Watterson called it quits; he didn't want Calvin to become just another kid.

Though if you like reading you'll appreciate this (my first crossover was kind of humdrum and cliche but this I loved.) http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1962524/1/T ... ys_Greener

For those who love a lot of comic strips like I do, ever wonder what happened when C&H met the Bumsteads during that 75th anniversary? Here's my idea. :-) http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2557372/1/C ... _the_Party

Ever wonder what the Noodle Incident was? Here's my take on that. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4741820/1/T ... nt_Madness

I've written others, but you can look for them by blicking "category" in my profile. I didn't want to overload with stuff (I don't know, maybe people only want images in this thread.)

One more? Okay, one more. Mr. Bun gets some personality. I just loved the reference to those old mad scientist movies when he tells Calvin, "I dare say that Susie is right. YOu are mad. Quite mad, I tell you!" http://www.fanfiction.net/s/841185/1/Th ... d_Exchange

Wouldn't a Krazy Kat or Peanuts crossover work better with a Calvin and Hobbes crossover though? Bill Watterson was heavily influenced by them both.

And Calvin would never become "another kid"; he is too obnoxious haha. But isn't that why we love his role in the strip?

Can't really comment on the rest; only comic strips I like are Rubes, Far Side and Calvin and Hobbes.

http://www.progressiveboink.com/archive ... hobbes.htm

I have posted something for those already familiar with the strip; if you want an introduction, I urge you to start here.

For those that already love the strip, here's a cool collection for today.

Shame that the sunday page layout damaged the god comic...the drawing is legendary and the font is a great touch.

The hunting one is one of my all-time favorites hehe.

My wife noticed how I was laughing out loud as I read the doctor strip. So, I asked her to read it, and she ended up laughing out loud, too.
As I recall, that was my same reaction when I had read this particular strip years ago.

Well the strips online are very limited so I'm just gonna let everyone read the books. Easy to find them on Amazon for cheap and these are good indicators of the style.

To Calvin and Hobbes fans I recommend these webcomics...I love Concession and Romantically Apocalyptic.
