Peel them from the bottom. It is a lot easier. Squeeze the bottom tip between thy fingeroonies and it will open easily, then just peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel

Is this another sex joke I don't get?

Man this happened all the time in school. :nerdy:

I don't like bananas (and I mean that in both ways)

Hahahah Barbarossa! I empathise dude, I never got the sex jokes. But I pretended to laugh along anyway.

But no, this is genuine. My dad heard it on the radio, and then he tried it, and I tried it. I just know that sometimes peeling bananas the normally way can result in a struggle, but this doesn't happen when peeling from the bottom. It is effortless and smooth :)

No worries but I think I'll stick to my routine.... i.e. with my (thumb) nail I make a little incision on the inside curved banana at the top, there where the piece of fruit was rooted, and I break it open pushing it the opposite way. Snap, done, eat.

I had heard before the virtues of this banana-peeling technique extolled. I've never actually seen anybody use it to peel one though.

I haven't eaten a banana since I was about five. I have a loathing for the fruit, it may be my second most disliked food.

Peeling from the bottom also helps reduce the number of little banana stringies you have :). Also! and I have tried this, if you want to keep your nanners fresher-longer, seperate them from the bunch as soon as you get them :). (I do like a good brown-ish banana though, very sweet!) It's kind of a hassle to have a million single bananas laying around but they do stay yellow-er longer!

Amazing! What's say we start up a new forum? The "Blindingly Brilliant Banana Funky Fruit Forum"????? How's about it?

I love bananas. They are an easy fruit to eat, you just peal them.
